Distribution. Brunei Darussalam, China * (Yunnan), Laos *, East & West Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam (Smith et al. 2020ab, as Cyclorhipidion pruinosulum (Browne)) .

Remarks. Xyleborus pruinosulus Browne, 1979, was synonymised with this species by Smith et al. (2022).
