Episcythrastis tabidella (Mann, 1864) **
MATERIAL EXAMINED. 2 Ƌ, W env. of Luga, 30.vii.2012, 24.vii.2015.
REMARKS. A local population of this southern species was found in Luga polygon (Fig. 1). Two males were attracted to light. Their appearance (Fig. 2) doesn’t seem to be different from the appearance of imagoes from the south of Russia.
DISTRIBUTION. The southern areas of Europe, middle belt of Europe (locally), Caucasus, Turkey, Central Asia (Sinev 1986; Karsholt & Razowski 1996; Aarvik et al. 2017; Koçak & Kemal 2018; Sinev et al. 2019).
