REMARKS. Since publication of I. Fiхsen (1849) the presence of this species in the region was not confirmed. The record in Estonian Lepidoptera Catalogue is possibly based on some old data.

DISTRIBUTION. Europe except for north Scandinavia and eastern Mediterranean, Morocco, Algeria, Caucasus, Turkey (Sinev 1986; Karsholt & Razowski 1996; Leraut 2014; Koçak & Kemal 2018; Sinev et al. 2019; Slamka, 2019).
