Type: Nematolepis phebalioides Turcz.

Symphyopetalon J.Drumm. ex Harv., Hooker’s J. Bot. Kew Gard. Misc. 7: 54 (1855). Type: Symphyopetalon corraeoides J.Drumm. ex Harv. [= Nematolepis phebalioides].

Flowers solitary, pendent. Corolla fused, red with green or yellow tips.

A monotypic section confined to south-western Western Australia.
