Phebalium section Microcybe (Turcz.) Duretto & Heslewood, comb. nov., stat. nov.

Microcybe Turcz., Bull. Soc. Imp. Naturalistes Moscou 25(2): 166 (1852). Type: Microcybe multiflora Turcz. [≡ Phebalium multiflorum (Turcz.) Duretto & Heslewood].

Flowers sessile, clustered in compact terminal heads. Carpels 2–3.

A section of three species, all of which are found in south-western Australia, and two also in south-eastern Australia. For an account of the genus Microcybe and its species see Wilson (2013 c).
