Type data: This species was described based in two males collected by Schrottky in Jundiaí, Brazil. One male was found at ZMB being here designated the lectotype. Type locality: Brazil: São Paulo state: Jundiaí (“Jundiahy”) .
Comment: The holotype is a male of C. xanthocnemis with yellowish pubescence on some terga.
