Description of Male. Fully winged; length 2.0– 2.4 mm. Head black, except mandible testaceous; antenna brown; mesosoma black; metasoma brown; legs brown, except tarsi testaceous. Antenna filiform; antennal segments in following proportions: 11:5:7:9:8:8:7:7:7:10. Head dull, completely reticulate rugose; frontal line complete; POL = 6; OL = 3; OOL = 5; OPL = 2.5; TL = 3; occipital carina complete. Scutum shiny, smooth, punctate, unsculptured among punctures, slightly rugose near anterior margin. Notauli incomplete, reaching approximately 0.3 length of scutum. Scutellum and metanotum shiny, smooth, unsculptured. Propodeum reticulate rugose, with strong transverse keel between dorsal and posterior surface; posterior surface with two complete longitudinal keels and lateral areas rugose; median area as rugose as lateral areas (in paratypes) or almost completely smooth, shiny and unsculptured (in holotype); in specimen from China, Mt. Liupanshan, median area rugose, except small smooth and shiny central region. Fore wing hyaline, without dark transverse bands; distal part of stigmal vein shorter than proximal part (3:10). Paramere of type series (Plate 29D, E) with distal inner pointed process, about as long as penis; in a specimen from China, Mt. Liupanshan, paramere much shorter than penis (Plate 29F). Tibial spurs 1/1/2.

Material examined. Types: holotype ♂: CHINA: Taiwan, Nantou, Meifeng, 2150 m, 19–21.IV.1983, K.C. Chou & S.P. Huang leg. (TARI) . Paratypes: same locality label as holotype, 2♂ (TARI, AMNH) . Other material. Palaearctic: CHINA: Ningxia Hui Nationality Autonomous Region, Mt. Liupanshan, 21.VI–14.VII.2008, Jiemin Yao leg., 1♂ (SCAU) .
