Diagnosis. Gular sutures structure unknown; labrum dentate, with two teeth; premolar tooth well-defined; antennae with 11 antennomeres, antennomere 5 much larger than 4 but about as large as 6, antennal club composed from 5 antennomeres; terminal antennomeres lacking sensorial appendages (phaneres); tarsal formula 2-2-2; genital armature of female indistinct.
Remarks. Kenotyphlus has 6 species, three in Greece and three in Turkey.
