Paratype male from SOUTH AFRICA: North West: Rustenburg: “[orange label] PARATYPE \ MALE”, “ Oxyrhachis \ phantasma \CAPENER” \ [reverse] 1962”, “RUSTENBURG \ March 22 1953 \ A. L. Capener”. Double-mounted on minuten, right prothoracic leg lacking tarsomeres.

Paratype female from SOUTH AFRICA: North West: Rustenburg: “[yellow label] PARATYPE \ FEMALE”, “ Oxyrhachis \ phantasma \CAPENER \ [reverse] 1962”, “RUSTENBURG\ Transvaal [Mine] \ 22.Mar [ch].1953 \ A.
