Female paratype from BRAZIL: Rio Grande do Sul: Porto Alegre, “Porto Alegre”, “[red label, Sakakibara’s handwriting] PARATYPUS \ Ceresa conica \ A. M. Sakakibara 19 77 ”. Pinned through right side of body, with surface contaminants.

Remarks. This species is currently considered as incertae sedis within Ceresini (Andrade, 2004a).
