Present status: Propicimex limai (Pinto, 1927); new combination by Usinger (1966: 306) Male (n° 2942, slide n° 3138); Brazil: Pará, Taperinha, Santarém; Herman Lent col., VIII-1936. Correction: Almeida et al. (2014) mistakenly considered this specimen a paratype. It was in fact collected in 1936, after the description of the species, and designated allotype by Usinger (1966). It is not part of the type series of the species.
