Lectotype male and paralectotype female (n° CEIOC 12944 + CEIOC 22300 + slides 155¯157, divisions 5¯7, box 6); [Brazil, Rio de Janeiro State], Rio [de Janeiro], Jardim Botânico; Moraes Mello col., V-1927. Note: This is the same material mentioned by Mercado et al. (2016) and redescribed by Martins et al. (2016). Both specimens were originally designated syntypes (as “cotypes”) by Costa Lima (1927).
