Rhizoprionodon lalandii (Vallencienes, 1839)

Extant specimens: ACL-HN-0044 (Fig. 7).

Classification on the specimen: None.

Common names on the specimen (Portuguese/Tupi): None.

Comments: This species was undescribed at the time Veloso collected it. Antunes & Balbino (2003) identified the specimen as Rhizoprionodon porosus (Poey, 1861) . Rhizoprionodon lalandii is found in the Western Atlantic from Panama to Uruguay (Nión et al. 2016; Ebert et al. 2021).
