Diagnosis. Forewing length is 10 mm (wingspan 20 mm) in males and 11 mm (wingspan 22 mm) in females. The male specimens of M. kosterini can be easily distinguished from other members of the species-group by the darker forewing ground colour with more diffuse pattern and the intense grey suffusion in the subterminal area of hindwing. The female of M. kosterini is similar to those of M. stenovalva sp. n., M. adelfika sp. n. and M. kontumica, but differs by its slightly darker forewing ground colour and the presence of grey suffusion at the hindwing apex. The differences between the genitalia of both sexes of M. kosterini and its closest relative M. lavides sp. n. are listed in the ‘Diagnosis’ of the latter species.

Distribution. Cambodia (Kampot and Pursat Provinces) (Dubatolov & Bucsek 2013; Bae et al. 2016).
