Loc. typ.: China, Yunnan, Hengduan mts., part Baima.
Described upon two male specimens. As far as I know it has never been collected again.
Description. Habitus as in Fig. 14. The combination of characters allowing to distinguish this species are: length 10.1–10.4 mm; integuments bronze with violet hue, rather dull; body rather convex; femora and tibiae dark brown, tarsi and antennae reddish-brown, rather long and slender; head narrow, with mandibles distinctly longer than the rest of the head; pronotum anteriorly broad, with lateral margins slightly constricted and sinuate towards the base; elytra rather narrow, oval, with striae very shallow, almost disappearing towards the sides; shoulders angulose and with a small but evident tooth. Median lobe of aedeagus with apical portion almost as long as basal portion; in lateral view subsinuate before apex, in dorsal view constricted and short, and with a very small tooth on the left side (Fig. 40). Ratios: El/Pl = 2.91; Ew/Pw = 1.46; El/Ew = 1.54.
