Note: See comments by Stearn (in Ann. Mus. Goulandris 6: 168. 1983). Van Raamsdonk (in Proc. Kon. Ned. Akad. Wetensch. C, 85: 565. 1982) wrongly treated this as a nomen nudum for, though very brief, Linnaeus’ "simillimum praecedenti...sed huic petala acutiora" does provide a diagnosis.
