Host plants/gall: Rosa spp. (as R. canina L., R. arvensis Huds., R. dumetorum Thuill., pimpinelifollia L., R. rubiginosa L. etc.)—multilocular globular gall on buds, leaf or fruits.

Distribution in Dobrogea: CocoŞ Monastery, Isaccea, Malcoci, Tulcea, Niculiţel, TL county (Borcea, 1912), common specie in Romania (Ionescu, 1973), the forests—Dumbrӑveni, Hagieni Natural Reserve, CT county (Şchiopu, 1980), Valu lui Traian CT county, Caraorman forest into Danube Delta TL county (Tudor, 1986), the forests—Negru Vodӑ, Şipotele, Neptun (Comorova forest) CT county, Babadag, Mӑcin Mountains TL county, and many other places (author, a new record).
