Host plants/gall: Q. fr., Q. ped ., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r., Q. cer .—gregarious lenticulare galls (± 4 mm Ø) on the underside of the leaves (- a -); solitary galls (1.5–2 mm long) on leaves, in buds or catkins (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: forests—Caraorman and Letea into Danube Delta (Mustaţӑ & Andriescu, 1994) TL county; Valu lui Traian, Murfatlar (Ionescu 1957; Ionescu & Roman 1959), forests—Hagieni Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ (Şchiopu, 1980), Dumbrӑveni, Neptun (Comorova forest) (author, a new record), CT county.
