Neuroterus numismalis (Geoffroy in Fourcroy, 1785)

Host plants/gall: Q. dal., Q. fr., Q. ped ., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r., Q. cer .—gregarious galls (2–3 mm Ø, 2.5 mm high) on the underside of leaves (- a -); gall, as a small biconvex lens (2–3 mm Ø), protruding on the both sides of leaf lamina (- s).

Distribution in Dobrogea: near common in all forests with Quercus species (Ionescu, 1957), environs of CocoŞ Monastery, Isaccea, TL county (Borcea,1912), Amzacea forestry band, forests—Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Dumbrӑveni, „Fântâniţa” Murfatlar Natural Reserve, Hagieni Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ, Neptun (‚the grey oaks’ Natural Reserve) and Şipotele CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
