Neuroterus quercusbaccarum (Linnaeus, 1758)

Host plants/gall: Q. dal., Q. fr., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r., Q. cer .(?), Q. bor . max. (?)—gregarious lens-shaped galls (5–6 mm Ø) on the underside of leaves (- a -); globular gall (± 8 mm Ø) protruding on both side of leaves, or fixed on the catkins (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: common in Romania (Ionescu, 1957, 1973), CocoŞ Monastery, Isaccea, Tulcea (Borcea, 1912), Babadag forest (Ionescu & Kierych, 1966), Caraorman and Letea into Danube Delta (Mustaţӑ & Andriescu, 1994) TL county; Murfatlar (Borcea, 1912), Valu lui Traian (Ionescu & Roman,1962), the forests—Cheia, Dumbrӑveni, Esechioi, Hagieni Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ, Şipotele, Neptun (Comorova forest) CT county, Mӑcin Mountains TL county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
