Host plants/gall: Q. fr., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r., Q. cer .(?)—globular gall (2.5–3.5 mm Ø) between bud’s scales (- a -); cotton-wool gall on catkins (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Murfatlar (Tudor, 1986), forests—Hagieni Natural Reserve, Şipotele, Neptun (Comorova forest), CT county (Şchiopu, 1980; Andriescu & Şchiopu, 2002), Caraorman and Letea (into Danube Delta) TL county (Mustaţӑ & Andriescu, 1994).
