Cerroneuroterus minutulus (Giraud, 1859)

Host plant/gall: Q. cer .—spherical gall (1.2–1.6 mm Ø) on uppersaid of leaves (- a -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Dobrogea Province (Ionescu, 1973), the forests—Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Dumbrӑveni, Hagieni Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ, Neptun (Comorova forest), CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).

Remark: Recently, by laboratory experiments and molecular data, the life cycle of Cerroneuroterus minutulus (Giraud, 1859) a species previously known only from its asexual generation, has been closed (Sotille et al. 2024). Thus, Cerroneuroterus aggregatus (Wachtl, 1880), has been confirmed as the sexual generation and the synonym junior of C. minutulus (Giraud, 1859) .
