Host plants/gall: Q. ped ., Q. pet ., Q. pub ., Q. r.—ovoidal gall (± 3.5 mm Ø, ± 5.5 mm long), like a small acorn, in buds of shoots (- a -); globular gall (± 1.6 mm Ø) on catkins (- s -).

Distribution in Dobrogea: Valu lui Traian (Ionescu, 1957), Hagieni forest Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ forest, Neptun seaside resort, CT county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
