Host plants/gall: Rubus spp. ( R. caesius L., R. fruticosus L., R. hirtus W. et K., R. idaeus L.) ( Rosaceae)—gregarious galls inside swelling stem.

Distribution in Dobrogea: Valu lui Traian (Tudor, 1986), Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Chirnogeni village, Neptun (Comorova forest), Negru Vodӑ forest, CT county (Şchiopu, herein now recorded).
