Host plants/gall: Tragopogon spp. ( T. dubius Scop., T. orientalis L., T. pratensis L., T. porrifolius L. etc.) ( Asteraceae)— gregarious galls in root collar and into stem.

Distribution in Dobrogea: Valu lui Traian (Ionescu & Roman, 1962), Canaraua Fetii Natural Reserve, Comana village, Dumbrӑveni forest, Eforie North on the Black Sea coast, Hagieni forest Natural Reserve, Negru Vodӑ forest, Neptun (Comorova forest) and others places CT county, Mӑcin Mountains TL county (Şchiopu, herein recorded).
