- Similar to C. botrys (23) and to C. carinatum, C. cristatum and C. melanocarpum (rare casuals) but tepals narrow, not contiguous, glandular at margin and with several hairs on the rounded back especially near the obtuse apex, in fruit hard, white. - [2n=18]
