Remark: Makarov et al. (2004) reviewed all species’ records in Republic of Macedonia and Montenegro. Lang (1964)

reported Lysiopetalum macedonicum from the Catholico Cave on Crete, but taking into account the general poor quality

of his works this find could be due to missidentification.
