SYNTYPE ♂: blue-margined syntype disc; red-margined type disc; “Java/ 50 44”; “6. GLYPSUS JAVANUS,”; “a”; “NHMUK 010592156”. Antennae missing (Fig. 92).

Current status: Cantheconidea javana (Dallas, 1851) (see Schouteden 1907: 45).

Note: Walker (1867a: 132) listed one specimen. It is likely that Dallas only had the one for his description yet we cannot be sure, we therefore consider the specimen a syntype.
