Remarks: Schuster (1916) mentioned that some older localities of this spcies from southestaren Europe are situated in the Ottoman Empire, but he knew no records from present Turkey. Tezcan et al. (2004) noted one specimen of L. hopffgarteni from Turkey, but this is considered herein as misidentification (as well as the record of one specimen of L. pulchella Fischer von Waldheim, 1823, endemic to the Crimea peninsula).

Published localities: Several localities in Dalmatia, Bosnia, Macedonia, Romania, but not from Turkey (Schuster 1916).
