Current name: Brachypodium phoenicoides (L.) Roem. & Schult. ( Poaceae).

Note: Although Kerguélen (in Lejeunia, n.s., 75: 95. 1975) stated “Type:...LINN”, this is not accepted as a formal typification, for the reasons explained by Cafferty & al. (in Taxon 49: 240. 2000).
