(Fig. 13)
Material examined. Bohemia: Plzeň-Bolevec (6246) (Fig. 13), Velký bolevecký rybník (pond), 49°46′29″N 13°23′28″E, 310 m, Schpl, 18.vii.2023, 2 ♂ 1 ♀ (MCH) . Přestavlky, 1.5 km SW (6445), 49°35′26″N 13°13′19″E, 390 m, forest pond, Schpl, 15.viii.2023, 1 ♂ 1 ♀ (MCH) .
Distribution. Europe (widespread, except for most of the Mediterranean Region, see Pollet et al. 2019) and Russia (European part).
Status in CZ. Previously recorded only from Horní les near Lednice in southern Moravia (Vaňhara 1981; Olejníček 1998) based on a single female specimen (29.vii.1971, J. Vaňhara lgt.), identified by J. Olejníček. This specimen was not available for study and is most likely lost. The entire dolichopodid yield of the survey of Horní les floodplain forest near Lednice was stored in alcohol and sent to J. Olejníček (J. Vaňhara, pers. comm.). Despite all efforts, no material from this survey was found in NMPC, MZMC nor MUBC (J. Bezděk and J. Nerudová, pers. comm.). However, the first records from Bohemia presented here confirm its occurrence.
Ecology. All the above listed specimens were swept directly from Schoenoplectus lacustris, and this genus and species of host plant is given also by Storå (1956, as Scirpus).
