Collection information.

USA: Georgia (new state record): Clarke Co.: 11 individuals from eight sites. Caught in flight trap from 9 March – 27 July 2020.

Distribution.

Eastern and central United States, and Caribbean islands.

Saproxylic habits.

Occur under bark and in bark beetle galleries, and emerged from bark beetle infested twigs, including sweetgum, poison ivy, and poisonwood ( Metopium toxiferum (L.) Krug and Urb. ( Anacardiaceae)) (Thomas 2009).
