Distribution.
Eastern North America.
Saproxylic habits.
Adults occur under bark of pine, oak, and hickory (Barron 1971); emerged from loblolly pine, water oak, and sweetgum, and associated with pine and snags (Ulyshen and Hanula 2009 a).
