Mordellaria undulata (Melsheimer, 1846)

Collection information.

USA: Georgia (new state record *): Clarke Co.: 233 individuals from 36 sites. Caught in flight trap from 19 May – 9 September 2020.

Distribution.

Eastern North America, not yet recorded from much of the southeast.

Saproxylic habits.

Develops within rotting elm (Hoffmann 1942); adults occur on dead hardwood branches (Downie and Arnett 1996).
