Distribution.

Eastern United States.

Saproxylic habits.

Likely a predator of woodboring beetles; it has emerged from hickory logs and oak twigs (Blackman and Stage 1924; Ferro and Gimmel 2014), and under bark of pine (Hopkins 1893).
