Distribution in Colombia: Magdalena: Rio Frío (10.9181; -74.1665); Valle del Cauca: Sevilla (4.2743; -75.9310) (Chamberlin 1929b); Tolima: Cunday (4.0605; -74.6918) (Gonzalez et al. 2007).

Repositories of Colombian material: holotype in CAS, MHNG (1♀, 1 ♂ and a tritonymph), MPUJ-ENT (2 ♀, 2 ♂, 2 tritonymphs, 4 deutonymphs and 3 protonymphs), (Gonzalez et al. 2007). Although Gonzalez et al. (2007) stated that some specimens are in ICN, they were never deposited there.
