DISTRIBUTION: Chiapas and Campeche (Mexico) to Guianas, E Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador and E Peru; Trinidad.

SYNONYMS: keenani, koepckeae, longifolium, peruanum, picatum (see Jones and Carter, 1979:8; Koopman, 19786:5; and Handley, 1960:462, 463)..
