TYPE LOCALITY: Peru, Junin, Chauchamayo .

DISTRIBUTION: S Mexico to Bolivia and S Brazil; Trinidad and Tobago; Grenada (Lesser Antilles).

SYNONYMS: bogotensis, gnomus, jucundum, pumilio, rosenbergii, watsoni .

COMMENTS: Includes gnomus, pumilio, rosenbergii, and watsoni, but see Handley (1987) who regarded gnomus and watsoni to be closely related to A. glaucus, but different species.
