Isometopus yoshizawai Yasunaga & Duwal, 2006: 58–59 (as new species, DV); Schuh 2002 –2013 (online catalogue).
Diagnosis. Oval, length 2.5 mm. Dorsum shiny, pale yellowish brown, bearing uniformly distributed prominent punctures. Vertex with a dark marking around ocelli; frons with 3 pairs of dark spots anteriorly. Antenna arising on the ventral margin of the head, with a black spot around the antennal fossae, sometimes extending to the ventral margin of the eyes. Antenna dark brown except for the basally pale brown segment II. Pronotum darkened medially and laterally. Mesoscutum dark brown to pale brown, with posterior lateral margins pale brown. Scutellum dark brown basally, with a V-shaped pale brown area toward apex and lateral margins. Pleura dark brown, with the ostiolar peritreme creamy yellow or white. Hemelytron with dark marks on corium and exocorium; margins and commissures of corium and clavus brown; cuneal commissure pale brown and inner margin with orange markings. Membrane fuscous or pale brown. Fore and mid femur white on basal 1/3, apical 3/4 brown; hind femur white, with medial brown markings. Detailed measurements in Table 1.

Distribution. India and Japan.
Biology. Nymphs and adults were collected on the bark of an unidentified tree with lichens, on Pongamia pinnata (L.) Pierre ( Fabaceae), and on Moringa oleifera Lam. (Moringaceae) (Figs. 19 A–C).
