Dolichocaudus brevicephalus sp. n.

Description. Body length (including forewing): ♂, 8.8mm; ♀, 9.0mm. Head (Figs 21, 29) triangularly produced at about 70-degree angle in dorsal view, and length equal to pronotum. Coloration (Figs 19-23, 28-29) predominantly brown with dark-brown or off-white markings, markings symmetrical but somewhat variable among gender in size and tint. Face off-white, frontoclypeus with an blackish ochreous band along median longitudinal carina and 2 blackish ochreous lateral longitudinal bands. Crown mostly brown, with apex blackish ochreous, 4 off-white, 2 orange-brown and 7 irregular blackish ochreous spots scattered. Pronotum brown with off-white longitudinal band, and 2 blackish ochreous oblique-lateral bands. Mesonotum and scutellum with 3 blackish ochreous markings and one large off-white marking. Forewing with 4 transverse dark brown stripes, and several irregular pale yellow and dark brown markings, veins white. Aedeagus (Fig. 26) ventral-caudal margin with small hump posterad of basal angle in lateral view.
Female with lighter colouration than male. Other characteristics as shown in Figs 19–30.
Material. Holotype: ♂ (QSBG), Thailand, Kanchanaburi, Khuean Srinagarindra NP Tham Nanya, 14º41.604’N 98º52.722’E, 750m, Malaise trap, 4-11.ix.2008, Somboon & Daorueng leg. T3427 . Paratype: 1♀ (INHS), same data as holotype .
