Euschoengastia peromysci (Ewing)

Euschoengastia peromysci was collected in the mountain, piedmont, and coastal plain regions of South Carolina. Joy et al. (1973) reported E. peromysci from Microtus pennsylvanicus, P. leucopus, and Sylvilagus floridanus (Allen) in West Virginia; and Crossley and Proctor (1971) reported it from Tamias striatus (Linnaeus) and M. pinetorum from the piedmont of Georgia.
