Mesochorus (Mesochorus) gemellus Holmgren, 1860 (Fig. 38)

O. Varga (SIZK) .

Distribution. Holarctic; first record for Ukraine.

Taxonomical remark. Face black; inner orbit cream-yellow, with ivory triangular spot opposite antennal grooves; hind tibia yellow, narrowly infuscate basally and in apical 0.1. The species was wrongly synonymized with Mesochorus tachypus and Mesochorus brevicollis Thomson, 1886 by Schwenke (1999: 108).
