Mesochorus (Mesochorus) terebratus Schwenke, 1999 (Fig. 43)
Material examined. UKRAINE: lvano-Frankivsk Region: 1 ♀, Mochary, 5 km NE of Bogorodchany, 48.505117°N, 24.352691°E, 300–350 m, mixed forest, Malaise trap 8, 4–14.vii.2014, leg. O. Varga (SIZK) .
Distribution. Central Europe and Turkey; first record for Ukraine.
Taxonomical remark. This species resembles Mesochorus tetricus by the very long and slightly down-curved ovipositor sheaths (c. 1.3 × longer than hind metatarsus). It differs by the apical yellow band on 2 nd tergite; mainly pale 3 rd tergite; and vespoid apical tergites. Mesochorus terebratus has been described in detail by Riedel (2019: 116) and was recently synonymized with Mesochorus skanensis Vikberg (Riedel 2020) .
