Clystera Complex
Two species comprise the Clystera Complex: H. clystera, and H. d-concava. These are medium sized species (ca. 1.28–1.31 mm), which have a moderately sparsely punctate and shining dorsum, a subcordiform pronotum (with or without a dark fascia), and a diffuse, lightly colored elytral macula (Figs. 91–92). The metaventrite has a deep, triangular impression. The aedeagus in this complex is very unusual: there is no distal piece, the gonopore being located at the sharply pointed end of the main piece (Figs. 94–95). The currently known species are from Bolivia ( H. clystera), and Peru (H. d-concava).
