DISTRIBUTION IN TURKEY. — Afyonkarahisar, Ağrı, Ankara, Antalya, Balıkesir, Bitlis, Bursa, Çanakkale, Edirne, Elazığ, Erzincan, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Hakkari, İstanbul, İzmir, Kars, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Muş, Sakarya, Siirt, Yalova.

REMARKS

In recent paper on Albanian ants Wagner et al. (2018b) suggested that southern populations from Balkan area and adjacent regions recorded as Tapinoma erraticum represent a cryptic undescribed species. Probably Turkish populations belong to the same taxon, but until a formal description we consider them as T. erraticum .
