Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Al-Judailiat, Al-Aushairij, Al-Salam beach, Ras Ajuza), Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran (Sea City), Auha Island; frequent (21%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, shells, pebble, rocks, tubes of blue coral-worm Spirobranchus sinuspersicus, sponges, hydroids, tunicates, algae, and ropes.
