Local distribution and occurrence: Khor Al-Sabiyah (Al-Shumaima), Kuwait Bay (Al-Judailiat, Al-Salam beach, Ras Ajuza), Al-Messilah beach, Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; frequent (27%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, dead corals, shells, pebble, algae, hydroid-bryozoan associations, sponges, tunicates, and ropes.
