Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Failaka Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; frequent (26%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, pebble, dead corals, rocks with macroalgae, and sponges.
