Local distribution and occurrence: Al-Sha’ab, Al-Salmiya beach, Al-Funaitees, Al-Mangaf, Mina Abdullah, Julai’a beach, Al-Khiran, Al-Nuwaiseeb, Boubyan Island, Failaka Island; occasional (18%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand and shells.
