Local distribution and occurrence: Kuwait Bay (Ras Ajuza), Masfat Al-Ahmadi, Ras Al-Zour, Al-Khiran (Sea City), Al-Nuwaiseeb, Failaka Island, Kubbar Island, Qaruh Island, Umm Al-Maradim Island; frequent (23%).

Habitat: Intertidal and subtidal zones; sand, rocks, dead corals, pebble, coral rubble, shells, rocks with algae, floating Sargassum spp., sponges, and tunicates.
